I can still pinpoint the moment I realized that writing was something I wanted to pursue: in third grade we were assigned a short Halloween-themed paper, and I ended up writing a mini-profile about an elderly woman who lived in my neighbourhood. On Halloween night this woman sat in her wheelchair at her front gate, she was wrapped in a ripped grey shawl and handed out treats to the children passing by. Something about that woman grabbed my attention at 8-years-old and inspired me to want to tell her story, and while I may not have fully grasped the connection at such a young age, ultimately I discovered my passion for soaking up the world around me and creating unique stories to share.

Currently, I am enrolled in the Professional Writing and Communications Program at Humber College, and I previously completed a master’s degree in English Literature and Women's Studies from Lakehead University. Below you'll find an array of writing projects that I've completed to date.
